About Dr. Patil
Mukul Patil, MD, is a fellowship-trained urologist at Tricounty Urology in Uniontown and Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. He specializes in a full range of safe and effective urology services. A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Patil is committed to providing the highest quality of comprehensive, personalized urological care to his patients.
Dr. Patil was born in Pittsburgh and graduated from Freeport High School. He then attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. Dr. Patil continued at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated with his Doctor of Medicine. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Patil received extensive postgraduate training, including a surgical internship and urology residency at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. He also completed a urology fellowship at USC, where he gained extensive experience in traditional, robotic, and minimally invasive surgeries.
Dr. Patil provides a full range of personalized urology services. He has a particular interest in treating erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, incontinence, and kidney stones. During his training, he also developed an interest in urologic reconstruction as a way to restore the quality of life for patients recovering from kidney, bladder, or prostate cancer.
Outside of his work in patient care, Dr. Patil is a member of the American Board of Urology, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
When he isn’t in the office, Dr. Patil spends much of his time with his family and enjoys Steelers football, Penguins hockey, and Pirates baseball.
